Japanese publisher KADOKAWA has launched a new manga contest, the ”Wordless World Manga Contest.”
It's a chance for artists to work with a Japanese publisher and build a career as a manga artist.ILLUSTRATION:

Hiroyuki Watanabe, editor of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Sgt. Frog," will explain how to create a manga. A portfolio review session will follow.
There will also be a giveaway session!
Manga creators are also welcomed to bring your works (whether it’s draft work or completed work) to our panel, and KADOKAWA editors will review your works as much as time allows !
There are two ways to bring your works:
1. Bring work directly to the panel
2. Pre-submit work online and visit the panel
Notes:
*If there is a high volume of submissions, we may not be able to review all the works.
*Although the "Wordless World Manga Contest" accepts wordless manga with no texts only, for this portfolio review, you may also bring standard manga (with texts).
Please bring your work directly to our NYCC panel, Manga creation with the manga editor of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" on Sunday, October 20, 14:30-15:30 at Room 406.3.
We will review and provide feedback on the spot.
Please submit your manga file via the form at the bottom of the page .
●Please convert each page layer to the integrated JPG format or PNG format, and compress it to ZIP format. (Or scanned files are also acceptable)
● Please name the file "(work name in lowercase alphanumeric characters).zip".
